What is Bounce Rate?

Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who leave a website after viewing only one page without taking any action. A high bounce rate (above 70%) typically signals a mismatch between what visitors expected and what they found, or a page that loads too slowly to hold attention.

Bounce rate measures single-page sessions, when a visitor lands on your site, looks around, and leaves without clicking anything. Google Analytics tracks this as a percentage of all sessions.

High bounce rate on service pages is a conversion problem. It means visitors are landing, not finding what they need, and leaving before reaching your CTA.
